In a recent survey conducted by the Great Place to Work® Institute, Ajuba has been ranked the 9th Best Company To Work For in India across industries. Ajuba has also been ranked 1st within the ITES Industry category.

The Great Place to Work® Institute, Inc. is a research and management consultancy with offices around the world. The institute has been evaluating employers through its employees over the past two decades, to understand what makes a great workplace. It is believed that strong trust between the employee and management enables the smooth functioning of an organization. The survey is designed to understand  the employees’ trust in the company and the company’s initiatives towards employee welfare. This survey is conducted in about 40 countries around the world. This year, the survey saw the participation of 427 companies in India across industries, including business giants like Google, Intel and Marriott. The study was conducted by the Great Place to Work® Institute in partnership with The Economic Times.  

These laurels come to Ajuba as a result of its employee’s response to the survey. The company’s efforts in providing a holistic work experience through various learning opportunities, health programs, celebrations and employee-centered work environment, has not gone unrecognized. The study indicates that employees rated the company 100% in satisfaction and 99% in parameters such as family feeling and celebrations. Further, the survey reveals that Ajuba is one of the 5 companies that has an employee base with more than 40% women.

With the market currently upbeat with jobs, Ajuba’s recruitment process is gathering momentum and it’s once again time for Ajuba to step into the colleges of Chennai.

Ajuba reaches out to potential talent in colleges through ACE, Ajuba’s Campus Engagement program. The recruitment process this year kicked off with the ACE team visiting SDNB College of Arts & Sciences. Some of the other colleges the ACE team has covered so far includes Vivek ananda College of Arts & Sciences, Gurunanak College of Arts & Sciences, Hindustan College of Arts & Sciences, Alpha College of Arts & Sciences, KRMMC College of Arts & Sciences and Apollo College of Arts & Sciences.

Knowing that the healthcare industry is one of the most stable industry, the final year students awaited Ajuba’s campus recruitment to commence. This was apparent with over 2500 students applying for various positions in Ajuba. Students who successfully cleared all levels were given offer letters on the very same day. Each time an offer letter was given away the ACE team applauded the students.

Ajuba’s Campus Engagement doesn’t end with recruitment; they keep in touch with the selected candidates. The candidates are taken through induction and also given a tour of the facilities; and thus begin their career at Ajuba.

All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. Whilst we take our performance seriously, we think it’s important to have fun too to ensure our employees enjoy coming to work. In order to achieve this we have come up with a committee called ICONs (Internal Communications Networks). ICONs ensure that the employees also have fun while at work and is dedicated to bringing colour into work. ICONs aims at reducing stress and expressing oneself creatively.

To cater to the talents of our employees ICONs diversified into ICONs Events, ICONs Sports and ICONs Music.

ICONs Events

ICONS Events is an exciting and enthusiastic team that organizes entertaining events and games to entertain the employees and keep work pressures at bay. ICONs Events activities include fun events, team building activities and many more. ICONs Events also brings in the celebration mood into work by celebrating the major festivals. Recently we celebrated Diwali with our employees and the culturals was a grand occasion.

ICONs Music

Music is part of our lives. We listen to different types of music as we go about our daily activities. So, why keep the gift of music away from work. Ajuba has its very own music band, Seraphiel who have participated in various musical events and have won prizes along with the hearts of people. The band participated in “Mellow-Dee” organized by Mellow Circle, which is a fund raiser for AIDS affected children. The band bagged the first place for ‘Best Band’ for the third time in a row, as well as ‘Best AIDS Awareness – Own Composition’.

Whatever be your kind of music, whether carnatic, pop or rock there is always a stage for you at Ajuba to share your gift of music with everyone.

ICONS Sports

Ever felt your glorious days on the track or indoor sports came to a halt once you finished college? Think again. Ajuba offers an opportunity for everyone interested in sports to come together and be a part of ICONS Sports. The employees get to participate in various internal and external sporting events.

This one is a sure hit for all the cricket enthusiasts. Ajuba recently had an intra-corporate cricket match where its employees formed 32 teams and battled with each other in 31 grueling matches. Another major sporting event – ‘IPL Super Selector’ saw the participation of over 900 employees in one single event. Employees have also participated in the Corporate Sports Olympiad organized by F5 Ventures and won 16 awards and the fourth position overall.
